Camryn s a founding member of Communities In Partnership (CIP), a grassroots organization based in Old East Durham, where she serves as the Executive Director. CIP addresses systemic inequity for communities of color and materially poor people within Durham focusing on social determinants of health, economic development, food sovereignty, gentrification, and housing. For 18+ years, she has led place-based development work, and serves as co-chair for Organizing Against Racism- Durham, is a member of the Racial Equity Taskforce for the City of Durham, was the former Co-Chair of Forward Cities Durham, and is a current RWJF Culture of Health Leader.

Haleh works at the intersection of environmental, economic, and racial justice movements. In 2009, Haleh co-founded Planting Justice where she designed, implemented, and managed an innovative non-profit model nestled within the fields of urban farming, prison abolition, and land rematriation. Throughout her career, Haleh has been organizing in communities hardest hit by toxic air quality, forged by her deep commitment to addressing the intersecting climate, public health, and equity crises. Haleh is dedicated to participatory practices using emergent strategies that build power amongst Black, Indigenous, immigrant & systematically-oppressed communities.

Lorena Andrade is Executive Director of La Mujer Obrera (LMO), a community- and women- led organization in El Paso, Texas. La Mujer Obrera was founded in 1981 as a garment workers organization, and today the organization advocates for community development that is informed by ancestral traditions and by local practice. LMO advances food access work through its restaurant, community farm, daycare center, cultural festivals and Lummetik Trading Company. Lorena is also the Co-Founder of the Alianza Nacional de Campesinas, the first national women farmworkers’ organization in the U. S.
